The City of Saugatuck has narrowed their search for a new City Manager to five finalists. The city received 29 applications from across the country.

The finalists will interview with the City Council via Zoom on Thursday, December 10. “The City Council and staff are very impressed with the final candidates. Their experience, education and commitment to customer service truly is refreshing” stated Mayor Mark Bekken. “The most challenging aspect of the process will be choosing the best candidate to fulfill the Council’s vision” added Mayor Pro-Tem Garnet Lewis.
The city’s recruitment is being led by Frank Walsh, President of Walsh Municipal Services.
