INTERURBAN BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Interurban's Board of Directors are appointed by Saugatuck Township, City of Saugatuck and City of Douglas. Each municipality appoints one member for a 4 year term every two years for a total of 6 members.
​

Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at Saugatuck Douglas District Library, 174 E. Center Rd., Douglas
or at Interurban Transit Authority, 100 E Wiley Rd, Douglas.

In the event a meeting is canceled or moved, the change will be posted no less than 48 hours in advance.​

​INTERURBAN TRANSIT AUTHORITY BOARD MEMBERS
​INTERURBAN BOARD – 4 Year Terms
Interurban Articles of Incorporation, ARTICLE IX: 1. The Authority shall be directed and governed by a six person Board of Directors, herein referred to as the "Board." 2. Two of the Board members shall be appointed by the Saugatuck City Council, two of the Board members shall be appointed by the Douglas City Council, and two of the Board members shall be appointed by the Saugatuck Township Board. 3. The two Board members appointed by each respective political subdivision may be elected officials of the political subdivisions, members of boards or committees appointed by the political subdivisions, or residents over 18 years of age of the appointing political subdivision.
4. Board members shall serve for a term of four years, with the first appointed members, only, appointed for staggering terms of a two year term, and a four year term, per political subdivision.
